HRULES - GUIDELINES -REGULATIONS:

  • We here at Whitetail Action Outfitters, LLC have put your best interest to mind to ensure a high quality hunt. We have placed the tree stands in locations to increase your chances of harvesting a buck of a lifetime. With proper land management, this has led to low pressure hunting and a high

          deer consistency.


  • License and Permits are purchased through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources; which will be your Permit, License, and Habitat Stamp.


  • Hunters must follow the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Guidelines and Regulations at all times; as well as the Federal Game Laws. (Failure to do so will result in termination of your hunt  without a refund)


  • All Illinois State Laws are to be followed, No Exceptions. Any Violation of the Illinois game law will result in termination of your hunt without a refund.


  • To book a hunt a 50% deposit of your hunt is required; your hunt is booked on a first come, first serve basis. Hunt dates will be reserved once we receive your deposit. There is a limited number of hunts per each week; the deposit is non-refundable, if you fail to draw a license, you can transfer your deposit to a future hunt in the season or from one year to the next with the approval of Whitetail Action Outfitters, LLC. If you cancel, or are a no-show; your Deposit is Non-Refundable. If paying by credit card; your card will be charged a  3% processing fee.


  • All remaining balance dues must be paid upon arrival before hunting.


  • Whitetail Action Outfitters, LLC takes every necessary action to put you in a good area to Harvest a Giant Buck; although there is no Guarantee of a kill.


  • Upon arrival, each hunter will be required to sign in. Your hunting license and the Illinois permit # must be recorded in the log book prior to hunting.


  • All Hunters will go through an orientation on hunting rules.


  • All Hunters will be given a Liability & Risk Waiver to sign.


  • It is required that all Firearm Hunters wear at least 400 sq. inches of solid blaze orange; at least hat & vest. (Required)


  • All Archery & Firearms must be unloaded and cased while transporting, this is supplied by the hunter. (Required)


  • All permits and license must be carried with you at all times while in the field. (Required)


  • As part of our Deer Management, hunters must harvest a minimum of 135 Pope & Young Buck with a Bow. Any buck not meeting this criteria will result in the hunter paying an additional $750 fine. Strictly Enforced - (No Exceptions).


  • As part of our Deer Management, hunters must harvest a minimum of 145 Boone & Crocket Buck with a Gun. Any buck not meeting this criteria will result in the hunter paying an additional $750 fine. Strictly Enforced - (No Exceptions.)


  • Hunters are not allowed to walk around the farms freely. You will be directed to your tree stand or place of hunting; which will be marked with trail markers; by your guide.


  • If you shoot a deer, for your safety stay in your tree stand, no tracking; contact        your guide.


  • All deer harvested or wounded must be reported to your guide, we will track and do our best to retrieve any harvested or wounded deer.


  • Absolutely NO Alcohol will be allowed in the field. (Failure to follow this rule will result in termination of your hunt without a refund)


  • No Smoking is permitted in the Lodge or bedrooms; there will be designated smoking areas outside. (Failure to follow this rule will result in termination of your hunt without a refund)

  • No littering of any kind on the Whitetail Action Outfitters, LLC premises or in the fields. Just remember respect everyone's property as if it were your own.


  • Hunters born after January 1, 1980 must have completed a Hunters Safety Course.


  • Respect goes a long way. Hunters agree to respect other hunters, guides, staff, landowners and landowners property; this includes, but not limited to farmland, roads, crops, livestock, pets, fences, machinery and any other property of outfitters and landowners. Failure to follow this rules will automatically result in termination of your hunt without a refund.


  • Hunters can arrive in the afternoon of day before your hunt; this is when you check in, pay your balance dues, we will check all your license and permits, go through orientation and hunting guidelines, rules and regulations, sight in bow or gun.


  • Hunters will depart by 10 am the day after the last day of your hunt.
